This was everything I needed!! I anchor my phone to the rear view mirror; placing my phone right in the windshield. It no time at all, the sun over heats my phone and now I’m lost! Literally. I was using my GPS in a city I had never traveled to and I was just fine until my phone over heated. I had to find a place to pull over in a sketchy area and wait for my phone to cool down.Now that won’t happen again! I have this cooling device that easily adapted to the holder I already had on my mirror. It plugs in to a usb and when it detects that the phone is getting hot, it turns on the cooling pad and quickly prevents any overheating from happening. I was not sure what to expect when I ordered this. I was looking for a fan to cool my phone while charging it of using it outdoor on hot summer days while working. I thought a fan would be good enough.To my surprise this device actually actively creates a cooling effect by way of ceramic semi conductive chips. It literally get cooler than the air around it. It seems to work similarly to electric coolers for food.It keeps my phone at 33°C or less even in the outdoors. I was amazed at its effectiveness. It will indeed collect condensation from the air because it cools to less that the air temp. This is only an issue when not connected to my phone as the temp are moderated by the phones heat.It would be cool to have a design where it was portable for example with a built in battery. You have to keep it connected to the cord as it is now. Works fine for charging and office use but on the go would be cool. 😉

This unit is well-constructed around a heat-hungry aluminum heat sink. Dual fans are mounted on a protective plastic frame. The surface area of the heat sink is generous and will suck away the heat from the back of your phone. This is ACTIVE COOLING; it uses high-tech semiconductor cooling which is also used in portable electronic coolers. Make sure the back is flush and is not overlapping your camera bump; this will create a gap which reduce its effectiveness and encouracge condensation instead. The unit is very lightweight and fairly quiet. It has a thoughtful USB-A to USB-C power-passthrough feature to power both the fan and the phone (2-amp USB charger required). One USB-A-C cable is included. NOT A WIRELESS CHARGER. It also has a 1/4″ camera mount screw socket so you can attach it to any sort of camera mount. One standard socket swivel mount is included, but no base. I use this unit to keep my Samsung phone cool while using it in desktop mode with a monitor; no more “this app is overheating your phone and will close” messages! This is definitely a good value for the price.

Its a little bulky when gaming and i wish it covered more of the phone but it works wonders and i haven’t had overheating problems at all with it. Its kinda amazing how well it works.

This device works very well. I thought it needed charged first, but after plugging it in for a few hours, I picked it up and it was extremely cold. I realized there is no battery to charge. When it is plugged in, it is working.I love it and it cools my phone perfectly when streaming little league softball games in 100 degree weather.

Not only does this thing keep my iPhone XS MAX COLD, but its best feature without a doubt has to be the mount in the center of it. It is able to mount not only on most tripods, but it also has a ball mount that can snap into stand like the one in this picture! When I play 8 Finger Claw on my Phone, the cooler effectively holds my phone in place and I can play FLAT! While keeping my phone cool. A MUST buy for long gaming/streaming hours. Streamer approved!

I love how quiet it is and how easily it fits into the back of the phone but I literally just opened it and not sure if it’s wireless or if it has to be wired up. I tried to connect it to my iPhone but it didn’t come on. But when I connected it via the C-Charger the provided into the wall outlet it turned on. I hope this isn’t something that has to be plugged into the wall all the time. The post said it works with ALL phones…

First one the mounting screw was stripped out but did an exchange and was fast to swap out for a non broken one. It’s a tight fit on my pixel 6 pro and s22 ultra. This thing does work well recording in 4k phone would temp out in about 7 minutes, after putting this on both phones never got hot and recorded for a full 17min review without shutting down from heat. Don’t know what kinda sorcery is in here but definitely worth the 25$. If you vlog or do YouTube with a modern smartphone this will help keep the phone cool.
